Blocked by Fear
One of the main reasons people do not accomplish their goals comes down to one word–fear! Sometimes just the mere thought of speaking out, getting up in front, meeting new people, applying for a job or even asking for a raise is so far out of their “comfort zone,” that fear shuts them down completely. There’s no need to live in fear as it zaps your energy, keeps you locked in a prison of self doubt and prevents you from being all that God wants you to be! But there’s a way of getting rid of all those “butterflies” fluttering in your stomach and that is to give your fears to God and and in return He will give you His strength and confidence to go forward. When you’re blocked by fear–pray and ask God for an extra measure of courage to take on any task He gives you. You’ll be surprised at how quickly fear will hastily retreat! Immediately God will surround you with His sweet peace and the fear will melt away. Whenever you’re afraid, claim Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you.” Help is only a prayer away! Text: 2 Chronicles 20:17, Psalm 27:1, Isaiah 35:3-4

2 Chronicles 20:17 NKJV - 'You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you." 

Psalm 27:1 NKJV - A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 

Isaiah 35:3-4 NKJV - Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you."
