What job has the Holy Spirit given you to do? In Numbers 3 and 4, learn about the service of the priests, which is a picture of how the church should function today. If one of the priests did not do his job in the tabernacle service, then everyone suffered. Numbers 8, 9

When you flip on the light switch in a dark room, everything in that room is suddenly revealed. The light of the Holy Spirit does the same thing for us—reveals us. This can be uncomfortable at times, as it brings to light our dirty disease of sin and our need of a Savior. In Numbers 8 and 9, learn how the lampstand and the laver paint a picture of the “light-shedding” process we walk with God in our daily lives. (Airs February 10, 2022)

Dr. McGee called the book of Numbers “the Book of Pilgrim’s Progress” because of the practical, applicable wisdom it offers the children of Israel as they wait, wander, and work in the wilderness.

Even though the people of Israel turned their back on God, He stayed with them in their wandering and watched over them carefully.

Get to know Him as the God who stays with you through it all.
