Yes while all of this is true about the Philosophy we also must understand
that new people must be able to share there ideals and if we are doing our
jobs the nfb Philosophy will be part of there lifes also.
I for one do not think that you are going any where but do not stand in the
way of progress. When we came to Toledo the work that you have done has not
been over looked. I think there is no way for us to change some minds of
older members and new but the efforts so far have been great. We may have to
start out with training in that area. What ever we do do not start out
beating new people up and trying to discourage them. Richard

> Hi All,
> I am very pleased that you all want the Toledo Chapter to be very active

> We need energy to grow and thrive but we need the experience of those of

> I hope that our new people will read our literature and ask questions.
> I would like to suggest that our New Chapter and all new chapters for that

> For example, it would be very interesting to discuss Blindness: A

> I believe that attending a Leadership Seminar was a highlight of my

> Years ago we had Regional Training on our Philosorfy for those interested.
> For all of you starting local chapters or revitalizing them let's remember
> that there are those of us who will be involved who have experience and

> I for one want us to do all the things that we couldn't do with just a few

> We need to remember that it is acceptable to be blind and that we can do

> I really also encourage you all read The Man and the Movement.
> As you can see I am not a retiring vine.
