[Ohio-talk] State Convention Theme

Hi J. W.
I think you have picked a wonderful Theme for the 2009 Convention.
I hope everyone reads this Speech before the Convention. We could also have copies in various formats at the Convention.
It is probably my Favorite Speech was Dr. Jernigan, or at least, right up there.
I remember feeling such elation after hearing that speech. I remember the tears flowing down my face.
I always felt so inadequate because I always had such abysmal Mobility Skills. I do get where I want to go but even when I could use a long white cane and no walking problems I was not a good Independent Traveler.
We all have skills which we can be proud of. It's the way we work around our difficiencies that matters. 
The people who have opportunities to get good training at our centers and some other good Programs are very Blessed.
Let's ramember to help each other and serve as role models for those who were not so Blessed.
What a great theme!
