Please see the attached Social Security Hiring Initiative and links for consumers who might be looking to work for SSA at either local, regional or the national offices.  According to the information, a variety of positions with various skill sets are desired.  Also, SSA included a sample of a letter that might be used so the consumer has the ability to be hired under the SSA initiative.  Please feel free to share with job placement, consumer organizations, IL Centers, etc.  Mike Hanes
