Subject: BRA: article in the Newark Advocate
Hello,
One of the winners from the 2009-2010 Braille Readers Are Leaders Contest was featured in an article in the Newark Advocate. Unfortunately, the article gets the details about the BRAL contest all wrong. I'm passing the info on in case you did not see the article. I'm not sure if approaching the paper about correcting their errors will be prosperous; but I do want to make sure the Hooks family stays connected with the Federation. Caiden is a charming young man and his parents are really open to learning. FYI: Mrs. Hooks is the one who passed on the info about the article to me, she was pretty excited about it. A link to the article and contact information for the Hooks family is below.

I hope all is well in Ohio. Have a safe trip out here to Baltimore in a few weeks, I'm sorry I won't be here to join in the festivities.
Yours in the federation,
Natalie
