I often wonder if we understand what it means to be committed to an
organization. While I am not the state president but make it a point to do
whatever he request of me.

There are things that I fill a great deal of responsibility for.

I think as a chapter president it is very important to get every member that
wants to attend the state board meeting there. It is also part of my
personal commitment to encourage others to do the same. Time to me is worth
just as much as the dollar. You know when you go to work they normally pay
you in some measure of time. What I guess I am trying to say come to the
board meeting and bring everyone you can. When we come together it is a
renewing of the movement and numbers do count in many ways. I would like to
start here by saying to the presidents to bring everyone from your chapter
that can come. But even greater than that lets get the word out about our
state convention. My friends the doctor has began to lay the ground work.
When we are telling others about the activities of our organization then the
word travels far. We need to get motivated and get people there. Richard
