Subject: An Ad I Placed on Craigslist, for Newsline

This is just an FYI on an ad I just placed on Craigslist, about Newsline. I
placed a similar, shorter version on my Facebook, and got inspired to send
it to Craigslist, publicly.

Strive On!

Most older people grew up reading newspapers every day. Many older people
can no longer read regular print due to vision loss.

We're asking you for your help in letting others know of this wonderful free
service. To let those who've experienced vision loss know they CAN read
again, independently.

The NEWSLINE(R) for the Blind service allows anyone who is legally-blind to
use the system for free, and they can call a toll-free or local number to
have phone access to newspapers around the world. Over 300 in the USA alone.
+ several International newspapers, + magazines, + local TV listings, +
local Job listings too, now. All read on-command by a voice synthesizer,
their choice of male or female voices, 24/7. They can also have the articles
they'd like to refer to again later, sent to them in text format, via
e-mail, by simply pressing a button while listening on the phone.

It's a wonderful, free service provided by the National Federation of the
Blind (NFB). Anyone you find who may be interested can simply be referred to
the NFB.org web site for details. There's a link and a toll-free number
right on the main page, to sign-up or get more info.

Though this service is free to anyone who is legally-blind, I find that the
elderly, and most senior citizens and Boomers who've lost their sight
especially love this service, as most were lifelong newspaper readers.

Please keep this in mind and share it with every older person you meet who
is visually impaired. Many don't yet know of this amazing, free service.

Tell them to go to http://www.nfb.org -- or call toll-free, 1-866-504-7300
-- for more information or to sign-up immediately.

Also, feel free to e-mail the link above if you would like more resources or
help with vision loss. While we can refer you to thousands of skilled and
helpful people across the United States who have also experienced vision
loss and blindness, we are located in the Northeast Ohio area. Contact us
today to find people who've been through what you may be going through now,
dealing with your loss of sight. We can help. We'd be happy too. Just e-mail
us today. Or contact the NFB through their Web site. They can help you, too.
:)
