Dear affiliate presidents,

The Jacobus tenBroek Library staff is collecting audiovisual recordings of
state NFB conventions and other activities of affiliates and chapters.  This
is an important aspect of the library's responsibility to document the
history of the Federation and we hope you'll cooperate.  If you stream your
convention or otherwise record it in digital format, it will be easy to get
the recording to the library, using a web application called "Dropbox."

Here's how to do it:

1.    Send an email request to
JtBLibrary at nfb.org<mailto:JtBLibrary at nfb.org>, including your name and
preferred email address, as well as a description of the files you wish to
submit.
2.    The Library will send you an email invitation to share our Dropbox.
Click on the link, which will take you to
www.dropbox.com<http://www.dropbox.com/>.
3.    If you do not already have an account, you will need to make one. You
can install Dropbox for free on your own computer and then access the
Library folder there. You can also access your Dropbox account online at the
Dropbox website. If you already have an account, simply accept the
invitation.
4.    After you accept the invitation, the Library's Dropbox folder will
appear in your own Dropbox. Open the folder called "JtB Library - Archives".
Copy your submission to the folder and Library staff will take it from
there.

Please note that the JtB Library Dropbox is only for large files that can
not easily be sent as email attachments. Examples of large files include
State Convention recordings, groups of photo files, or large document files
(1 MB or more). All smaller files sent to the JtB Library and Archives
should continue to be submitted as email attachments to Anna Kresmer at
Akresmer at nfb.org<mailto:Akresmer at nfb.org>. Also, please note that access to
the JtB Library Dropbox is temporary only. If you have more files to submit
at a later date, you may be required to reapply for access.
