Thank you for your comments. It makes me very uncomfortable when people like this  appeal to people like us with propositions or  projects such as this that are not necessary or truly of great benefit to the population. I am sure, as you said, it might be a fun thing for a while. A new toy, quickly discarded, at our expense if we would fall into his scheme or maybe scam. How do we know the clocks exist, & would actually be distributed to these "needy"! Blind children? Or perhaps the money would line his pockets instead.  Move on Mister to the next group or project!
