Hi,
I taked with Ann Williams this afternoon. She reminded me that the Articles in The Voice of the Diabetic are still relevant and may be of help. I had asked about getting blood on the strip and being one of those people who are a hard draw.
She called me back and gave me some suggestions.
She also told me that the Cleveland Diabetes Partners has some Materials available for those with little Visions. Funding from the National Eye Institute and Materials can be requested from any one, not just Cleveland Residenss.
They are available free on a Compact Disc or as a Flash Drive which can be used in our NLS Players.
If you wish to receive this material you may call:
216-591-0800. She asks that we publicize this widely so we can use supply. It is going to be time to update soon.
She also said that the Stchdy in Cleveland may repeat with a larger group and more areas later on.
I hope we can pass this info on available materials far and wide.

Colleen Roth
