It is not about blame, but it is about being practical. We are a small group
with a relatively
Short time for exhibits. We then divide the group at least seven ways
Shopping, parents, students, seniors, dog users, exhibitors, and those who
choose none of the above. I have been in the exhibit room when it has been
absolutely dead for long periods of time. More than one time I have had
vendors tell me we don't give them enough traffic.
Relationships change over time. Companies change over time.
Until some time in the 90's we did not have exhibits at our convention. For
several years the only exhibitor we had was Universal Low Vision Aids. There
are no easy answers here. No matter what we do here, some people are going
to be unhappy.

Guys people need choices. I wish that we would stop now blaming people for
going shopping because there are many other things going on at that time.
Yes we need to make sure the venders have people to attend. I think they had
visitors and am aware that it is not the members fault that the venders do
not get the type of traffic some may think. We have broke strong relations
with Ohio venders that must be looked at. .
Ps. Thanks to those who wanted to go shopping and those of you who went to
the room if that is what you decided to do. The members who went to do other
things to take advantage of the very break that the state board decided they
would have enjoy. Richard
