Hello Friends,

Final announcement:

All nature lovers, save the date!

Please plan to join us for an afternoon of hiking and learning.  What's there to learn?  Prepare to have fun hiking in some of the most scenic terrain in the metroparks system.  We will get a dose of outdoor sunshine while we hike and enjoy learning about the birds that make the park at Big Creek their home.

Come and join us for the Birding  By Ear program, guided by a professional naturalist who whill teach us to identify migrating birds and birds that also winter here.

We will meet ath Simon's Deli:  7770 Chippewa  Road at the Brecksville Shopping Center on Thursday, August 22nd from 2 to 4 p.m.  Afterward, we can have a bite to eat either at Simon's Deli, Panera or the Courtyard.  These restaurants are all within proximity to each other.  Rachel Nagle, the outdoor recreation inclusion specialist will pick us up with the park's van and drive us to and from the hiking and birding location at Big Creek.  This should take about 5 minutes each way. 

Plese bring your waiver form with you.  If you need help completing the form, call me at (216) 939-0502 or e-mail me at the corresponding address.  Additionally, bring $8 in cash to cover the price of admission.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bottled water to ward off the summer heat.
