Cindy,  you'er think of over all chapters and you might be correct with this
but they are very organized and they do lockimportant items up in the safe
in the office even your luggage.  This is  part the the service that a hotel
offers their client.  A few chapters doing this should not be much of a
problem for them to do this.  However, when I wrote the suggestion, I was
only thinking of one chapter at the time.  Have a wonderful time.

I beg to differ. That is over and above their responsibilities. If every
body decided they wanted the front desk to be their personal mail service,
those desk clerks would most likely walk out and never come back. 
That is a lot to ask of the front desk. Customer service or not.
