[Ohio-talk] Vehicle donation Program

Sorry... I take back my initial email. Upon further digging on Charity
Navigators, which is a site that ranks charities and is designed to provide
information to donors, I found this.
http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=7722
I can't believe I was fooled; but I guess they play off of the gullibleness
of people so they're web site would intentionally be misleading. They also
refused to disclose information to the Better Business Bureau, which sounds
fishy. The BBB web site says that disclosure is voluntary, but the point of
disclosing information is to show an honest depiction of the company
standards to donors. So, basically they're saying that this company is
hiding something for a reason, and although they're allowed to decide to do
that why would they if they had nothing to hide? At least New York is
investigating their car, van, and boat donations.

Subject: Re: [Ohio-talk] Vehicle donation Program
Has anyone heard the advertisement for vehicle donations for "Heritage for
the Blind?? I have recently heard them in the Cincinnati area and I am
worried it is a scam. I went to the website and could not find anything
telling me what this organization does. I know this is off topic but I am
always concerned about things like this.
