[Ohio-talk] Commendation

Hi Marianne,

No, VRP3 will not be continuing in Cincinnati. From what I've found out,
there is some funding problem so all on the caseload in Cincinnati will be
forwarded on to counselors in Dayton. We'll have to see if that's actually
what ends up happening, but that's what I've been told. Personally, I would
have no qualms about being moved to BSVI and cutting out the middle man, or
program, all together.

Kaiti, that is a very big concern for every blind person in Ohio.
Have you asked anyone if VRP3 will continue in the Cincinnati area? I think
students on the VRP3 program were receiving services that were inferior to
the services other people received from BSVI. I am only aware of the
Cincinnati program. I would like to hear from young people or people who
have knowledge about the VRP3 program around the state.
