JW

Thank you so much for your kind words. This has brightened my day! In deed we are in a season of Thanksgiving!

I must tell you that I am no different from others who we have in this organization. I come from a long line of strong women who have advocated for the unjust and so called "imperfect". Therefore, I walk the talk more times than sometimes I would like.

The Cleveland Chapter has supported me in all my endeavors and for that I am grateful. In addition, Richard, Eric and Barbara alike as well as you have afforded me the opportunity to give back. I reflect just about everyone in the NFB who have been on SSI, homeless, in a domestic violence relationship, seeking employment, attending college when nothing seems to go right and more trials then I would like to say. I am not unlike many on this list. But, I hope I am a gleam of light to anyone who needs it.

Again thank you! We need to uplift more people in our organization like this!!

Please do not stay silent! We need you and your expertise!!

Suzanne

Subject: [Ohio-talk] In My Opinion

First I want to say that I'm back from my self imposed silence for the most part wich I think is very important for a new President to have from a previous one especially in their first year in office and remember this is my opinion and feelings only!

Second, at the risk of embarrassing her as I have just left her a voice mail message wich she has probably not even checked yet, I want to publicly congratulate Suzanne Turner for an excellent example of someone that does not wait to have a position or to get elected to provide and model superb leadership!

Even some of her posts on this site are worthy of sharing with others as I have done several times already and her active involvement with the Cleveland chapter and our state affiliate have been not just effective but heartfelt and inspiring I dare say!

I'll stop here but well done Lady, and as I said, for better or worse, I'm back so you'll be hearing from me a lot more ok?
