[Ohio-talk] Disabilities and their portrayal

Hi Paul,
Thanks for reminding me of what school she attended.
I do not know why but I was thinking she went to Wright State.
I have a friend who is an Alumnus of UD and has a daughty with Cry of the Cat Syndrome. I am not joking, this is really the name of the Syndrome. When the children are little they mew like a kitten, they do not cry.
They have very severe disabilities including CP, profound deafness, profound Mental Retardation and legal blindness.
They usually do not live a long life. Her daughter is 36 years old which is a miracle.
I am sure my friend will weigh in on this with UD.
I will not mention Kaiti's name to her.
