Hi Deborah, 

Agreed.  It takes a special type of person, not to mention one who wants to
major only in music performance or education, to get to CCM though.  I will
say that it is an awesome school though; I participated in the Cincinnati
Youth Wind Ensemble my freshman year of high school, and it was a great
experience.  One concert was even held in conjunction with some of the CCM
ensembles; it was so awesome to do Battle Hymn of the Republic with the CCM
Wind Ensemble, then have their chorale come out for the last few choruses.

Oh, Macy, what a wonderful experience!  I am so happy for you!  And I can't
help but wonder aloud why none of you talented musicians in OABS have
applied to CCM?  It is such an Ohio treasure.  I failed in persuading my own
children to go there, and hope maybe an OABS member will one day grace the
CCM practice rooms!
