Hello Everyone,

Much mention has been made about going to your local one-stop career center, and I have not gotten anywhere with them. They referred me to the Bureau Of Services for the Visually Impaired (BSVI). So it was to no surprise to me about what Suzanne is going through. However, if you can, sign up for Ohio Means Jobs--the state of Ohio's web site for jobs. There, you can save your job searches and be notified by e-mail whenever a match occurs. You can also post your resume so other employers can notice you. One tip, though, in your job-search filters, check "no staffing agencies." I have never had any luck with them.

Signing up will take a little time, but don't be frustrated. Once you're in, you will not only receive e-mail alerts, you will also be contacted by prospective employers either by e-mail or by phone. I have received several contacts in the past.

So hop to your nearest computer and sign up for

Good luck to all job seekers, including myself!
Milena
