alittle numb but I still want to try thanks to Collene Roth she really has

Subject: Re: [Ohio-talk] ideas for labeling
Ladies, when I lost my vision, in the 80's, I had a very difficult time with
braille. Learned grade 1, enough for labeling. But, another trick of mine is
for frozen foods. For beef I repackage in aluminum foil, all chicken in
plastic bags, pork stays in store packaging, don't buy too often. Back in
the day, rubberbands came in handy and wax paper as a reminder for odd
items. I purchase most beggies frozen, only buy canned soups and tomato
products. I try to lay veggies flat in freezer, because you can feel what
they are through packaging.
Still buy spinach in box frozen. I live alone so this method is easy, no
other hands to mess it up.
I recently find the need to lable plastic bottles and spices, companies no
longer have distinctive bottles. Example, Windex is the same as other spray
cleaners and ketsup and mustard can be the same.
Salad dressings, it goes on and on. The important thing is that Dawn comes
up with her own system and sticks to it with the understanding that the
family cooperates. I raised 2 children using this and now I'm explaining my
system to 2 grands, they catch on quick and love to help. As I grow older
the problem becomes, where do I hide things from myself, lol! Blessings,
cheryl
