Hello everyone,

 

Individuals like Melissa are placed into the wrong jobs, but with the proper training and expectations they can be great employees.  This video illustrates one individual’s experience of transitioning from an entity that paid her a subminimum wage to an entity that set high expectations for her.

Please watch and spread widely! Many people do not even realize it is legal to pay people with disabilities less than the minimum wage.  Let’s educate others about the true capabilities of people with disabilities!
