Hi Suzanne,
Many of my clients are on Medicaid programs like buckeye, care source
or united health care. I know they do provide some transportation to their
customers. Also the city of Cleveland has a deal with stc and the senior
population. They can get 1 round trip trip a week. It could be for
anything like shopping or doctor's appointments. I know they do have a
certain radius where they will take people. I believe it is $1.00 each way.
They have to register with the city of Cleveland department on aging. They
must be residents of Cleveland. Hope this helps you.

> I was hired with Medical Mutual of Ohio on the 7th of December as a
Quality Care Navigator. It has been a fast pace position, since it is
ground breaking in the Health Arena. My job is to assist the Medicare
population members to learn about their supplemental health plan under
Medicare and provide information on incentives that the plan offers.
Essentially, I am one of the incentives that will provide concierge service
to them. I will assist them in navigating their care with whatever their
needs are. If it is to locate a gym or a particular physician, or even to
help them with scheduling a doctor's appointment: I am here for them.
However, I need to compile some information to aid my members with great
service. Therefore, I am coming to you with a request.

> I need information about transportation for the entire State of Ohio. So,
can you provide me with all information that you are aware of with names,
telephone numbers and location of a transportation resource in your area. I
will be googling info as well. But, word of mouth is quite essential.
There are some examples below to get a gest of what I am seeking. I really
appreciate this.
>
> Resources for transportation vary according to the area the person lives
in. It can be Provide-ARide, Para-transit program, city/county senior
center transportation, Medicaid Waiver Programs, Hospital systems and
Clinics and Rehab programs. Please if you know of any foundations specific
to an illness or disease that may have transportation, such as, The American
Cancer Society or those who use volunteers who drive patients to
appointments. All information will be helpful.
