The National Federation of the Blind, Cleveland Chapter Is Providing Travel
to,

 

The National Federation of the Blind Jernigan Institute 
200 East Wells Street at Jernigan Place 
Baltimore, Maryland 21230

 

The Cleveland Chapter is excited and want to extend this opportunity to all!
So come on !   The bus is filling up so claim your seat!!  We are inviting
teachers, administrators, members, friends and family to join us on
Thursday, April 16 thru Sunday, April 19, 2015 

 

This great opportunity will leave you informed, enlightened a most of all
eager to spread the word about how the Jernigan Institute is making a
difference in the United States and beyond.  Come and travel with us!  It is
not too late!  Haven't you always wondered about this spectacular
organization?  Don't you want to say that you have visited the Jernigan
Institute?  Do you know who the National Federation of the Blind President
is and those who fight for our rights,   initiatives and provide education
and assistive devices at a higher level in the NFB?  Come and meet those
members who you have heard about: or you thought you may have never gotten
an opportunity to meet on a personal basis.  The Cost is only $ 100.00 per
person, which includes Transportation on Lakefront Lines, room and Most
Meals. 

 

Itinerary 

 

Thursday, April 16;

9:00 AM: Depart Cleveland, Ohio from Lakefront Lines Depot, 

13455 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, Ohio  

 

12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Lunch and Rest Stop 

Note! 

All travelers are responsible for purchasing meals and other items 

 

6:00 PM: Arrive Baltimore, Maryland 

Rooms will be assigned and Dinner provided for travelers at the Jernigan
Institute. 

 

JI Activities: 

 

Friday, April 17; 

8:00 AM: Breakfast will be provided for travelers at the Jernigan Institute.


 

9:00 AM: Depart for a Day in Washington, D. C. 

 

10:30 AM: Meet your congressional representatives! 

 

12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Lunch will be in the Capitol Cafeteria.

All travelers are responsible for purchasing their own meals or other items.

1:00 PM-5:00 PM: Sight Seeing in Washington D. C. 

 

6:00 PM:  dinner will be provided for travelers at the Jernigan Institute. 

 

7:00 PM: JI Debrief of Capitol Visit. 

 

Saturday, April 18; 

8:00 AM:  Breakfast will be provided for travelers at the Jernigan
Institute.  

 

10:00 AM: Travelers will attend Baltimore's Chapter Monthly Meeting. 

 

12:00 PM: Lunch will be provided for travelers at the Jernigan Institute. 

 

JI Activities 

 

6:00 PM: Travelers will make arrangements for dinner/ to be announced. 

 

Sunday, April 19; 

8:00 AM: Breakfast will be provided for travelers at the Jernigan Institute.


 

JI Activities 

 

12:00 PM: Lunch will be provided for travelers at the Jernigan Institute. 

 

1:00 PM: Departure for Cleveland, Ohio 

 

5:00 PM: Dinner and Rest Stop
