Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for posting this video.  It makes me so angry when sheltered workshops and other like-minded agencies think they can fool the public into believing that being paid subminimum wages is a personal choice, even if it applies to someone with a severe disability.  Then the video goes on to say that being paid at or above the minimum wage will cause many disabled workers to lose their job.  That's just a lot of fear-mongering.  If a job is supposed to give you self-respect and make you a productive member of society, how can this video claim to give people with disabilities the same respect and foster self-esteem when their job is devalued by paying them "skilled-set wages," (substandard pay).

Let's work to get rid of Section 14(c).  Loss of Section 14(c) means fair pay, respectability, and self-esteem for all workers with disabilities.
