Thanks for mentioning me there!! I'm currently working on new new tactile favorites and I bring a few of my past ones, these will also be on sale!! So anyone that is interested gets to own some real textile art!! If I can I'll put the word out for my event and maybe get people to come and see what NFB is all about!

Hello Undecided Convention Attendees,
More than 70 of your friends from the NFB are registered to attend our 70th
annual state convention. They are ready to march to Independence to take
part in informative general session, play family feud NFB style, listen to a
Braille play performed by our humble actors, take part in educational
workshops, attend the Banquet, and vote in an election. What's keeping you
from adding your name to this list?
Maybe you haven't heard about all the special guests that will be roaming
the halls of the DoubleTree in Independence, getting to know the people of
our affiliate, and educating us at a number of workshops. Anil Lewis,
Executive Director of the NFB Jernigan Institute will be lending his
expertise in a Leadership as well as a Membership Workshop and he will be
giving the keynote address at our banquet. Dick Davis, Associate Director of
Blind Inc. will be at our convention's Employment Symposium. Dick is
preparing to retire from his position at Blind Inc. so you can wish him well
at our convention. And if that were not enough to get your attention, Bryan
Duarte, National Association of Blind Students Board Member and our state
representative will be here to get to work with college students.
Some of you prefer gadgets so maybe our high caliber guest list is not
enough to get your attention. Well, in that case perhaps I can tempt you
with a sneak peek at the list of vendors planning to bring products to
Exhibit Hall. We have commitments from Flying Blind, Cleveland Sight Center,
Magnifiers & More, Independent Living Aids, BAUM, and Universal Low Vision
Aids. These fine companies will give you the opportunity to explore a wide
variety of products like refreshable Braille Displays, video magnifiers,
CCTV's, tablets, as well as talking and tactile products galore.
I know, I know you are in the middle of a major life change and are spending
most of your time preparing for a new career or have been struggling to make
your new life work for you. This is the best reason yet to register for the
convention. Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities will be there to
talk to us during general session, participate in the Employment Symposia,
and talk to people in Exhibit Hall. That's not all; you can get more
information from experts representing iCan Connect, Medical Mutual, and
Vanda Pharmaceuticals. Knowledge is fuel and I invite you to fill yourself
up with it at convention.
Let's say that you have all the tech and information you can stand. In that
case, you can support our affiliate, chapter, or division by visiting one of
the fundraising tables in Exhibit Hall. Buy your very own NFB tumbler in
order to look smart while drinking your favorite beverage and demonstrate
that you are part of a team of strong minded independent blind people living
the life you want. Relax while you enjoy a 10 minute chair massage to
benefit OAGDU. Smell good with products from the Cleveland or Greater Summit
County Chapter. Touch and experience tactile art created by one of our
members, Owen McCafferty.
If that isn't enough, then I have just one last tempting treat to offer.
Visit the Exhibit Hall to pet a puppy. You heard that right. Puppies in
training to become service dogs will be at our convention to help us learn
more about the process of raising the dogs we love so much.
Wow, I know you are ready to get registered so here's the link.

I anxiously await your registration confirmation.
