Condemnation is a negative thing. No one learns positive information. I
volunteer my time working for the A. C. I. L. (Access Center for Independent
Living), in Dayton. There are 12 offices in the State of Ohio. My
responsibility is providing training to the public and business
professionals about what it is like to be blind. They wear sleep shades,
and I educate them on the proper usage of a Seeing Eye Cain and its purpose,
blind phylospy, and many other avenues taught to me by the NFB. After I
have completed my task, many if not religious seem to have found it because
they mumble as the walk down two hallways with their cain and sleep shades,
Oh Lord, Jesus, God Save Me, and many other comments of this nature!
I have been doing so well at this task that I have been asked to sit on the
A . C . I . L. Board.
I am proud to be a member of the NFB. Without this wonderful organization
and members like Barbara Pierce and Dr. Smith and Richard Payne and many
more , I probably would not have accomplish my endavors.
Perhaps the folks at FFB need to be referred to such an organization other
than the NFB so that they could also learn immediate on hands training to
properly administrate what they have learned.
