While this is a great activity the NFB of Ohio has the opportunity to raise
money for our affiliate by helping with the Flying Pig Marathon in
Cincinnati the next day. This activity accomplishes 2 goals: 1. it can
raise money for the Ohio affiliate and 2. it shows the community that blind
people are capable of doing something. According to Sheri, we may have to
back out of the Flying Pig due to lack of workers that morning. Instead of
attending the diversity walk in Cleveland come help the Ohio affiliate in
Cincinnati. The Cincinnati chapter has also planned to visit the Freedom
Center on Saturday. Please help the affiliate. We all love to spend money
but we all have to help raise money too.
