[Ohio-talk] Please consider joining the NFBC Visionaries!

I do believe that the entire Affiliate is working for a good cause. But to
say not to attend the Diversity Walk in Cleveland is not what Ohio should be
promoting. Some of us can do both and would be proud to attend them all.
The event in Cincinnati is very important; just as well as the endeavor in
Cleveland! We all need to participate where we can fit in! Therefore, I am
urging my Northeast Ohio members to assist with the Cincinnati fund raiser.
The event in Cleveland is not to raise funds, but to promote independence,
inclusion and diversity. The two of these events are not on the same day!

Suzanne

While this is a great activity the NFB of Ohio has the opportunity to raise
money for our affiliate by helping with the Flying Pig Marathon in
Cincinnati the next day. This activity accomplishes 2 goals: 1. it can raise
money for the Ohio affiliate and 2. it shows the community that blind people
are capable of doing something. According to Sheri, we may have to back out
of the Flying Pig due to lack of workers that morning. Instead of attending
the diversity walk in Cleveland come help the Ohio affiliate in Cincinnati.
The Cincinnati chapter has also planned to visit the Freedom Center on
Saturday. Please help the affiliate. We all love to spend money but we all
have to help raise money too.
