I just want to let everyone know that yesterday I submitted my T Shirt design for NFB Youth Slam Event 2017!! A few days early than the April 28 deadline bit I feel like I came up with an awesom design for this event!! I should know in May if it's accepted or not. If it's accepted as the T shirt design it could mean recognition and an award! So please keep me prayer hope the best best for me!!

I write to thank our leadership for what I thought was an excellent and productive Board meeting this past Saturday April 22nd.

I know that this has been a particularly challenging transition in many ways but it was so refreshing and comforting to see our Board at work and to see the maturing of our President and Vice President right before my eyes and ears as it were.

I stand ready to help our leadership in any way necessary to continue the progress that has been made to this point and I thought that you all did us proud on this past Saturday.

Greetings, This is Richard Payne president of the National federation of the
Blind of Ohio. We  need your help to find volunteers for this event. Would
you be able to put this word out? I just got the information that we are
lacking the correct amount of volunteers. Thanks in advance.

But we have several people in that area who have not decided to take part.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in joining the National Federation of the Blind
of Ohio in participating in the Flying Pig BLT Station. Our task is to line
up at the Mile 9 mark on Madison Road, and hand out Puffs Tissues to the
Flying Pig Half-Marathon runners and cheer them on, as they go by. We had a
lot of fun last year, and the runners were very happy to see us, and very
appreciative of the tissues! This is a great way for all of us to do
something great for the community and to help us promote the NFB brand.

Here are the instructions to register as a volunteer:
