And proud you should be! It takes a strong, confident, independent, resilient and compassionate woman to be doing what she is doing. You have raised her well. As a parent, we want to protect our children and keep them safe from harm at every turn. But remember, she has a loving God that watches over her, just as he watches over you. She is not alone.

Best Regards,

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Dear NFBO Family, friends and Coleagues:

Many of you know that I have 2 daughters Ebony and Joshelyn.

Joshelyn left yesterday for the Peace Corps and she will be serving in Fiji for the next 2 years!

She continues to do what she can to make a positive contribution to our society specifically and to humanity in general.

As you might expect, I am a very proud and excited father.

I just wanted to share this exciting news with the family and ask you to pray for her please and good news is always a good thing in my opinion.
