[Ohio-talk] The ADA Celebrates its 27th Birthday!

Good Afternoon Ohio,

 

On July 21, 2017, , the Cleveland Chapter will celebrate the 27th birthday
of the Americans with Disability Act.  In celebrating this important
enactment; we will host Congress Representative of the 9th District of Ohio,
Marcy Kaptur's Administration.  Mr. Nick Turner will grace us with his
presence.

 

Nick is a Congressional Member who has a number of times accepted our
invitation to discuss various NFB bills that were presented in 2015, 2016
and 2017.  However, since this is a celebration and we want to make every
effort to bring attention to the rights of people with disabilities under
the ADA, H.R. 620: The ADA Education and Reform Act of 2017 will be indeed
at the forefront of our  meeting.

 

Cleveland will serve refreshments and celebrate our President, William
Turner's birthday as well.  Also, if you cannot make this endeavor, there
will be a limited number of conference lines open for members around the
state.  This will be on a first-come basis.  Cleveland is strongly
encouraged to come out to allow the Ohio Affiliate to participate by phone.
