Hi Chris,
I am waiting for my friend to send the pictures to me. We tested sending one
of which I will send in a separate Email.
The tour was wonderful. I learned a few things, as well it gave me a greater
appreciation of my heritage. I strongly suggest that anyone that haven't
gone to the Underground Railroad Museum at the Freedom Center in Cincinnati,
please go and ask for Pat as your tour guide. Not only did she provide a
great verbal description of the artifacts, but she also answered our
questions in a professional manner that only someone that is passionate
about the topic could do. Thank you Pat, you were wonderful.
Last but not least, Thank you Annie Carson and the Cincy Recreation
committee. This event was well thought out and presented. We may have gained
a Cincinnati chapter member because of your diligence. I can say with
confidence, the Cincy recreation committee is doing it's part building the
Federation.
Living the dream, by raising expectations!
Much Love,
Walter Mitchell

Thanks Pat. Got your message. There is no attachment. Thanks for conducting
a very lovely and insightful Tour of the National Underground Railroad
Freedom Center. This really gave us a lot of new insights into the real life
experiences of African-American slaves and the role the Greater Cincinnati
area played into our ultimate path to the Abolition of Slavery. Here is a
link to a page on Blind Tom Wiggins (http://www.blindtom.org/). This is the
musical prodigy I mentioned during the tour.
Looking forward to receiving the pics for our Facebook page.
Very Best,
Chris
