[Ohio-talk] file conversion question

Greetings Friends,

The last time I asked a computer question, I had great success, and so, I'll try my luck again. 

Can anyone tell me how to convert a YouTube file to an audio file for transcription?  Additionally, how can I chop up the file so that only a portion of it is converted?  If the latter function is not possible, I'll be happy with the former.
