[Ohio-Talk] Banana Nut Bread

2 c sifted flour, 1 t baking soda, 1 t salt, ½ c butter, 1 c sugar, 2 eggs,
1 c mashed bananas (2-3), 1 T vinegar plus milk to make ½ c

 

Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Cream shortening, blend in sugar, add
in eggs 1 at a time, beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture alternately with
bananas and liquid.  Turn into greased loaf pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for
60-70 minutes. Cool at least an hour after removing from oven.
