Cutco knives and other utensils are wonderful. They are great for people with arthritis. I bought my 83 yr old mom a set for Christmas 2 yrs ago and she loves them. They also have payment plans that help you get the last knives you'll ever need. I agree with Barbara on hating to part with a knife long enough to get it sharpened, but they have a fast return.  Thankfully it is not like they need sharpened frequently.Good luck Sadie. The products are the best.Carol Akers
