Hello,
Yes, I am wondering where all the door prizes are. We are less than two weeks to the beginning of convention, and I have very, very few door prizes to give out. Where are all of our chapters? Where are all of our divisions? Where are all of our wonderful donations that we usually get? So far, I have only heard from three chapters, and one division. But, I know my mailbox will soon be flooded with all kinds of prizes to give away.
So, don’t despair. I know by the time convention comes around there will be lots, and lots of prizes to give out.
There may even be some surprises of wonderful prizes and celebration of the 75th anniversary. But, that’s a secret, so don’t tell anybody.
If you would like to donate a prize, please let me know at the below information. Remember, all prizes will be required to be sent directly to the winner from those who are donating. So gift cards and other items that are easily mailed or recommended.
Also remember, in order to win a prize you have to be registered for convention by this Wednesday, October 27. You also have to be present when your name is called. You will have two minutes at that point to either raise your hand in the zoom room or email me at Ohioprize at gmail.com.
But, President Payne does not want you to know that. He wants to be the only one eligible to win so all the prizes would go to him.
I will see all of you at our diamond convention beginning with the rookie round up on November 3. Until then, let’s go build the Federation!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.
