I echo what Kinshuk says. I pray that all those who are affected have a speedy recovery. And may all of you have safe travels home.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise the expectations of blind people because we know that low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want, blindness is not what holds you back.

Dear Federation Family,
The corona virus is still very much a threat in July 2022. Despite being
vaccinated and boosted, faithfully wearing a new mask every time we leave
our homes, and continuously washing our hands, it is still highly
contagious. I know because I have now tested positive. To give a timeline
to those that I may have been around in New Orleans,, I started to feel
under the weather late Friday night, then felt horrible Saturday morning
which prompted the first test.; it was negative. On Sunday evening, , I
started to feel worse, and decided to take a second test.; those result
showed positive. I am posting this in case someone wanted to take a
precautionary measure and test themselves. My husband, Jordy Stringer,
tested negative on Sunday and never had any symptoms.
I want to thank Him and Pat McPherson, and Carol King-Reis for checking on
me and offering to bring me what I may need to feel better. I hope that
everyone who is returning home from convention, has very safe travels.
Sincerely,
