Ohio, Cleveland and Friends,

The National Federation of the Blind is an organization made of family that
cares. I want to let you know that I am a passionate individual who cares
and would never intentionally hurt anyone or defame their character.

For those who are wondering how I am. I am steadfast and moving forward. You
have not heard me respond to anything. For those who may not agree with me,
you know that my integrity is solid and I hold myself to a hire standard.

These emails are confusing. But, this too will pass! We will continue to do
the work. Students, seniors, young adults stay your course. Just know that I
only answer to me and I am not buying what is being sold.

I don't believe that I've heard my name mentioned so much over the last few
days. It is a nice name and I wear it well.

As we prepare for several events, you will be hearing from me more.

I received an email from President Riccobono today and I am taking his
advice.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
