Ohio will be hosting a STEM2U program on Sunday, May 21 at COSI! The event will be from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. We’ll be doing space themed activities. Please invite any blind and low vision students you know grades 3rd through 12th grade. We can also accept younger students if interested. OSSB just sent this in their parent newsletter and they are promoting it at the school. Right now we only have two students signed up though! Registration ends May 7. We have reached out to the NFBO listserve, and the POSB STEM group. We currently have enough volunteers. Our biggest need is getting students to sign up! The sign-up link can be found on the STEM2U NFB website. You can also reach out to Caroline Karbowski at carolinekarbo at gmail.com for the link.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
