Dear Sadie M. McFarland,
Please do not post petitions to the list with out reaching out to the leadership first.
I will say in short that everyone deals with baggage and to ask the airlines to check our baggage has a few negative impacts on the community.
If you or anyone has any questions, contact me off list.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Subject: [Ohio-Talk] Airline advocacy petition
Good morning, federation family. I just released a petition to require domestic Airlines to check luggage for disabled passengers for free. Whether our challenge is visual or mobility-based, dealing with a carry-on is a very challenging and sometimes unsafe burden, but because of the cost, sometimes is the only choice. Please join me in signing this physician so we can get this done, and don’t forget to share with your friends!
