[Ohio-Talk] Adjusting to blindness seminar in Columbus

Good Morning,

The National Federation of the Blind of Ohio, Capital Chapter, welcomes you to our inaugural Adjusting to Blindness Seminar. This seminar will cover a variety of basic blindness skills and Federation philosophy to anyone who would like to learn more about adjusting to blindness. Such topics as Braille, Orientation and Mobility, accessible technology, daily living skills, and many other topics will be discussed. And all of this will be taught by blind peer mentors who use these skills every day to live independent lives and this seminar is free for all those who would like to attend.

If you would like to be a participant or appear mentor, we would love to have you.

The seminar will be held on Friday, April 26,  Beginning at 10:00 AM. Lunch will be served for all who attend. We will be in the main conference room on the third floor at the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities building at 150 E. Campus View Blvd. in Columbus.
