Hello NFB of Ohio!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

I can already hear the gavel falling opening are upcoming NFB of Ohio State conventioN. 

And speaking of gavels it is that time of year again to start preparing our chapter and division Gavel questionnaires!

Don’t you love award season?

And, it is time to start thinking about nominations for our individual awards. I know there are plenty of worthy nominees out there.

 Attached to this email, you will find a description of all of the awards that are available to be given at convention. You will also find the instructions of how to nominate individuals and submit your Gavel questionnaires. Please read over these so that your chapter or division Knows exactly what to do. And remember, the deadline for all questionnaires and nominations letters is October 1.

You will soon get two other emails with the Gavel questionnaires attached. I encourage everybody to look over these even if you are not responsible for completing it for your chapter or division. That way, you know exactly what you can share with those in your group who will be completing the questionnaire.

In the past, there has been some trouble with our list serve including attachments. If somebody needs me to send them either the instructions or the questionnaires individually, please let me know off list.

Good luck to everybody in this year‘s awards season. Your 2025 awards committee is very much looking forward to seeing all that you have accomplished over the past year.

Now let’s get those questionnaires done and let’s celebrate all of the exceptional work that the NFB of Ohio has accomplished.
