Good Morning Fellow Federationists,
I hope everyone is doing well. Happy fall convention season.
During the Board meeting at convention, I explained how to use the Member
Profile so that our members can change their own demographic information and
find out about member benefits.
I just want to outline the steps so you will have them to encourage your
members to use the Member Profile:
* Go to nfb.org and click on the "members" link.
* Once there, if you have never logged in or have forgotten your
password, click "reset password".
* ON this screen, you will need to enter your email address and then
hit submit. Please note that you will need to enter the email address you
use for NFB communications.
You will then receive an email with instructions on resetting your password.
The email should arrive within the hour, please note that it may go to spam.
So, there you have it! It's accessible and easy, and the member can do this
independently.
Of course, if the person doesn't have an email or is having trouble, you can
have them reach out to membership at nfb.org <mailto:membership at nfb.org> .
Thank you. Let's go build the National Federation of the Blind

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
