Pennsylvania Association of Blind Students
April 24th 2016 Minutes
Present: Hindley (president), Lizzy (secretary), Jason 
(treasurer), Angel (member),
Meeting called to order: 7:31 pm
List Serve:
Our new list serve will be up and running within the next week or 
so.  Lizzy is in contact with Joe who is the webmaster for the 
NFB of Pennsylvania's site.
Students' Convention Status:
Angel: Yes
Lisa H: Yes and needs funding.
Tariq: Maybe
Silvia: Maybe
Jessica: No
Yang Heppe: Maybe.
Tom Brown: No
India Scott: No
Jooyong: No
Lacey: No
Denise: Maybe
Amanda: Maybe
Ryan Carsey: No
Jason: Maybe
Katelyn: Maybe
Hindley will follow-up with: Tariq, Lisa, Katelyn, Silvia, Yang, 
Amanda
Lily will follow-up with Denise.
Fundraising:
Brainstormed ideas: TastyKakes, towels, chocolate truffles/baked 
goods.
Final Idea: Baked goods, TastyKakes, and packaged coffee cakes 
(we're thinking to sell them in the morning before people eat).
If each person can buy 10 packages of TastyKakes, let Hindley 
know privately.
We'll sell each package for $1.  If you have any other 
fundraising ideas let us know!
Raffle Idea: 50-50 raffle.
