> Future Dates to keep in Mind:
> State scholarship!!! The deadline is August 15th, you are eligible if you did not win a national scholarship this summer.  You must be in school for the 2016-2017 academic year, the money is presented in the form of a check to you at our state convention.
> Raffle:
> Pennsylvania holds a state wide lottery to support our PA scholarship fund.  We are currently selling them ($5 each) to be drawn in the month of October, every day in October there will be a drawing, if you are drawn Monday-Friday you'll win $50 (and on a Saturday $100).  You can win more than once.
> We must sell and collect the money, then mail a check to Jim Antonacci.
> Below are the people who have committed to sell tickets (the number represents their personal goal):
> Lily: 20 tickets.
> Hindley: 20 tickets.
> Jason: 20 tickets
> Angel: 10 tickets
> Lizzy: 10 tickets
> Lizzy will record and send the addresses of the above people so that Jim Antonacci can mail them the tickets.
> State Convention:
> Friday Nov.  11 - Sunday Nov.  13th.
> It will be in State College (accessible via Megabus, and other modes of transportation).  Please think about the following questions:
> Can you attend? Do you need PA funding? What do you want to see at the student meeting? What friends of yours might want to attend?
> Lily suggested that we do our TastyKake fundraiser at State Convention (unanimously agreed upon).
> Tom suggests that we do a 50-50 raffle because people really look forward to it (unanimously agreed upon).
> Updates:
> We were going to hold a student seminar in November with Connecticut but that did not work out so we were then going to hold it with New Jersey but unfortunately their State Convention is the same weekend as ours so we can no longer do it.
> Facebook: Angel will post whatever happens on our text threads to Facebook.
> Email: Our email list serve is run through NFBnet and is very accessible and easy to sign up for.
