hello joshua and all,
i have been reading all of the posts in regards to the talent show in what could be done differently and what needs to stay the same... well, here's my thoughts and opinion on this topic for you all...
i have only attended one talent show which was in 2009 in detroit and, unfortunately, i couldn't come to national convention in 2010 due to personal difficulities and, i couldn't come this year due to financial difficulities. i think the talent show is a awesome way to showcase people with good and unique talent. i also think that dennis does a awesome job in mc the event. his jokes are hilarious and fuunny and, he doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. i also like there is door priizes for the event because other divsions including the student divsion does door prizes at their events too!
as for this year's recording i only got to hear the last 15 minutes of it since i wasn't home to listen to it on line. but, i thought the sound sounded so much better this year than it did in 2009. and, as for this being archieved i'm sure it will be soon...
thanks again all for your comments on this topic and, i will talk to you all soon!
hugs always,
from amy

Dennis, you always have something to say, after some performances,
that are kind of crude.
This year, was better.
Last year, in Dallas, what you did after the 7 year old girl's
performance, wasn't my cup of tea.
If I did tell jokes, it wouldn't be at the expense of performers.
I have jokes that I've heard, from Joel Ostine, that I may use.
These jokes are funnier, and they aren't crude, and they don't make
fun of performances.
One I'll post here.
Two baseball players were debating amongst each other, about whether
there would be baseball in Heaven.
They made a deal, that one would die, and find out, and then he'd
return to tell the other.
Well, one of the baseball players died, and, as promised, he returned.
He told his friend, I have some good news, and bad news.
The good news is, that there's baseball in Heaven, but the bad news
is, you're scheduled to pitch, next thursday.
Blessings, Joshua
