[Perform-Talk] Flashback Friday: Talent Show

Hi all,

Sorry for coming in late here!

Thank you for your contributions to this discussion! This is exciting! :)

If anyone wishes to sing with a live accompanist, I would suggest
emailing the list. You could send an email out to this list as well
as the music talk list. Also, don't ever hesitate to contact me. If
you send me an email at kaybaycar at gmail.com, I will get back to you
within 24 hours. I can reach out to the members who, sadly, are not
on these lists and find someone who would be willing to play for you.

I believe the division should be able to help members find
accompanists for the talent show. This is certainly not too much to
ask. And it won't be too much to put out a Facebook post and maybe
even email out to the Nfbnet list asking for willing accompanists.

The division is not in the business of excluding those who wish to use
pre-recorded accompaniment tracks; however, we can make it as easy as
possible to help our members find live accompaniment if they want it.
Our board and others in leadership of the division do our best to make
the talent show run smoothly. It is most important that our
performers and audience enjoy a great experience. We strive to keep a
variety of performances in our show, but we will not exclude the 10th
singer who signs up or tell someone they cannot perform what they
want, unless it isn't family appropriate. :)

Sarah, welcome to our division!!! I look forward to seeing you at convention!
