[Perform-Talk] My First Theatre Audition

hello Danielle,

thanks for sharing this news with us all! unfortunately, I have never
done theatre or auditioned for the theatre but, when I was in middle
school our choir had a musical/play which was for community theatre
one of the plays was toyland and the other one was the gift! wow! I
can't believe that iremembered that.. well, when I auditioned for both
of them I had to do mainly a vvocal audition in the choir room and
also then a speaking part too!! it wasn't all on the stage but, at
that time I still had a lot of sight and, I could read the music and,
the script too! but, that has changed now... but, sine you are totally
blind I don't know what to tell you is that you just need to be
yourself, use your cane or dog, and, also prove to the person that you
are auditioning for that you can do the part with a script in braille
or in a whatever format that you wish to use...

i'm glad that you have decided to puruse acting because we need more
people here on this list to participate in acting and, also express it
on this list too!  thanks again and, good luck in your audition!
