These are really great opportunities. If I fit the age bracket sought, I would def audition. Hope plenty of blind actors seek out this opportunity.

Subject: [Perform-Talk] Opportunities for blind Actors

Good afternoon performers,

The National Federation of the Blind has received two inquiries for blind actors on two separate projects. Please contact me if you are interested or know someone who may fit the role even if they have limited or no experience.

Project 1 to be filmed in July:
Male, Mid-20’s/Mid-30’s, Any Ethnicity, Blind. Sexy, funny, charismatic, optimistic, blind musician (preferably a guitar player) with a sharp, quick sense of playful humor. It’s pretty much impossible not to be charmed by this guy. LARGE (POSSIBLY RECURRING) GUEST STAR.

Project 2 to be filmed July – August:
Female, open ethnicity, 20’s – lead role, the role requires some sexual content. Premise: a recently blinded girl learns that her family harbored dark secrets with potentially cosmic implications.

You may contact me here at this email address or at jmcginnity at nfb.org.

Let's get some blind actors playing these characters! Thank you!
